A complex, high-stakes or fragile trip often does, and the cost of getting it wrong dwarfs the cost of the help. The trouble is that it can be hard to tell which kind your own trip is when you are standing inside it.
What actually tips a trip into needing help
A few features reliably turn an ordinary booking into one where a second, expert pair of hands earns its place:
- Connections on separate tickets, or tight transfers where one delay topples the rest
- Several travellers who need to arrive together, as with family or church groups
- Mixed passports in one party, where visa and transit rules differ between people
- Older or vulnerable travellers who need assistance and safe connection times
- Last-minute or emergency travel, where speed and judgement matter most
- A trip valuable or important enough that a single mistake would really hurt
